Born and raised in the Southwest. I was once a working cowboy. I play the guitar and Banjo and I have liked David's music for years. I just missed getting to see him here in Hesperia California some years back and really was dissapointed. I think David is one of  the best and play some of his music. I think one of the most  touching song's I have ever heard is , "When the thought of you". His voice is very versital and if you ask me is perfect for the song. I bought the one CD I keep in my truck in 1999. It has been played countless times over the years. I have to admit I don't care for California that much but I have to stay here because of my work. I do live in a good area though and have my horse here and I do live out in the country I would be willing to put all of Davids Band up aand grub stake them if they ever get out here in this area for a gig. At any rate i think the guy is great.  Doc
